Being that I’m an only child, there was a time in my early twenties when I didn’t even know if I wanted children. Fastforward over a decade (who am I kidding, more like 15+ years) and I’m a mom to four boys. Now, I couldn’t imagine my life any other way.  We live outside of NYC, but I have (BIG!) dreams of living in the Vermont countryside.  Mark my words: it will happen.  One day.  Hopefully soon.

When I’m not looking after my boys, you can find me in the kitchen or rearranging furniture. To say I’m design obsessed is a bit of an understatement, and I have a serious problem with wanting to take home every piece of antique furniture I find.

Tacos, rap music and Ina Garten are a few of my favorite things. My boys love Ina too, as well as anything on The Food Network and HGTV, so I think it’s safe to say I’m doing something right.  I’m happiest in the Fall and start planning my Christmas decorations in July. I’m weird like that. I don’t take myself or life too seriously and believe laughter is the best medicine, especially when you’re raising four young boys.

I jumped around from school to school during college because I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life and have the student loans to prove it.  Eventually, I graduated from NYU with a degree in Social Work, and while I have always had a passion for helping people, expressing myself creatively is what I really live for.  I often wish I would have gone to culinary or design school, but such is life. Hopefully this space will be my own little creative outlet to (sort of) fulfill those dreams through words and photos.
